Happy Monday Motivation! Welcome back to the weekly podcast
No More Excuses!
I appreciate you listening and SHARING this podcast via social media.
It seems like it was just March Madness in Indy and now it’s another sort of “mania”… it’s “May in Indy”! And if you don’t understand, well, then… you aren’t a race fan! The Indy 500 is coming up and activities in Indy kicked off with the Mini Marathon, now the Grand Prix and then onto practice and qualifications for the big race. There’s even more passion, commitment, dedication and determination buzzing in the air!
The last few weeks have been about that, about trying, keeping going, not pointing blame, practicing what you preach, and at least TRYING. All things that are “easier said than done”, right?!
How many times have you quit trying and then realized just how close you were? At some point in our lives, we’ve said, “oh soooooo close!” What if the Wright Brothers gave up?
The last few weeks I’ve had a lot of new people connecting with me, but one time I noticed 7 less connections on LinkedIn. Hmmmm, did I OH-FEND someone?! Who knows. I can waste time wondering and worrying or I can just assume they “aren’t my people”!
Listen in this week as I talk more about that and a great quote I found that will be in my upcoming book, “You will be too much for some people. Those aren’t your people.” Exactly.
I’m sure I annoy people by constantly saying “Just do it”, try, do, go… but I guess my biggest (well, 2nd biggest) pet peeve is when I see people NOT trying and then complaining about shit. That is MY “nails on a chalkboard”! Don’t-er’s and Quitters make me want to shake the shit out of them!
I want to know what is YOUR biggest pet peeve? What drives you BAT-SHIT-CRAZY?! People that say one thing and do another? Perhaps ask for advice and don’t take it? I also can’t stand, pen-clickers and change-jinglers! Teehee… but those won’t stop you from DOING, growing and SUCCEEDING!
So – listen in and then email me – And… right now just click “share” and you’re done! It’s that easy!
Have a great week and I can’t wait to hear from you all!
Cheers! Sandi
